With the sugaring off season in full swing, this vintage photo evokes memories of how the sap was boiled the old-fashioned way in a huge cast iron pot over an open fire.  Above, Ludovic Seguin who made syrup off of Hwy. 201 near St Georges Road in Rigaud, poses for the camera way back circa 1956.
