HABIB FAMILY
One of Hudson's oldest established families, the Habibs arrived in Canada about 1905 when Camille (second from right) opened up a general store in the village, often delivering goods to customers on a horse-drawn wagon. The business continued up until the 1990s. Shown above are: Camille's son, Philip, his wife Margaret with son John who ran the store with his wife Jeannette until she retired, and daughters Helen and Effice.
